In this ninth research mission, detailed socio-economic data was collected for 125 households. Families reported significant financial insecurities with little income, growing debt, and inhibiting financial literacy.

ZP led efforts with Developmental Housing at the Saudi Ministry of Housing to negotiate approvals for the first phase of construction of the Albaydha Housing Project. Negotiations closed with a ministerial approval to begin with 439 housing units for vulnerable families. ZP has been appointed to lead strategic planning, high participatory research, and high-level stakeholder management for Albaydha as the national pilot.

In its seventh research mission for the Albaydha Housing Project, The Zovighian Partnership R&D team conducted a population-wide data collection effort on socio-economic vulnerabilities to support the housing registration of 157 families. Research findings showed a spike in emigration with families being driven out of Albaydha due to chronic poverty challenges.
