On August 4, 2020, Beirut was hit with an explosive tragedy of still unknown human, economic, financial, political, social, cultural, and infrastructural magnitudes. In this fog of war of information disempowerment, The Zovighian Partnership is committed to investing in data.

It is our hope that this open-source data platform serves as a public asset for coordinated, strategic, and deeply impactful efforts to salvage, safeguard, and grow our Beirut. We stand by our ethical duty to ensure that the many voices of devastated residents and ecosystem emergency response players are included and amplified. May this R&D repository enable evidence-based decision-making governance driven by the people of Lebanon so that our communities and international friends step up to meaningfully serve our Beirut.
